Our Strategies

To address our purpose, we employ three strategies with various activities.  Our strategies are to:

  • Teach teachers how to internationalize their curriculum,

  • Train individuals in the knowledge and skills necessary to lead groups abroad for educational experiences, and

  • Facilitate groups who want to travel abroad for unique educational experiences.

Our Activities

The International Education Center of Excellence facilitates opportunities for citizens to participate in holistic educational experiences worldwide through the administration of model international education experiences and by training educators to lead international educational experiences.  In doing this, we facilitate the education of educators and the creation of ambassadors for sustainability around the world.  In addition, the Center provides guidance in the development, dissemination, and implementation of international education curriculum for institutions.
