Internationalization of CurriculumThis project began in New Mexico and is expanding nationally. New Mexico educators with a background in international educational experiences studied the state's education performance standards and benchmarks in the content areas of Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies and determined those with an international application or connection. The resulting Framing Document outlines those standards with resources and guidelines of how to internationalize curriculum addressing those standards. This core of educators are regional leaders in internationalization of curriculum in New Mexico and train fellow educators. The team also leads curriculum internationalization in other states.
